This qualification reflects the role of an enrolled nurse working under supervision of a registered nurse. Enrolled Nurses can work in all areas of hospital-based care, primary health care settings, aged care facilities, operating theatres, community nursing sector, mental health, and a broad range of other settings. The course is conducted in 8 terms, each comprising 10 weeks, inclusive of holidays. The course requires 400 hours (10 weeks) of mandatory Placement Experience, in four separate blocks. Fieldwork Placements are a requirement of the AHPRA registration process. We find these placements for you, as they are fully supervised, and require several competencies to be achieved at each placement.

This qualification will provide you with the competencies required for middle managers or managers across a range of community sector organisations. This course is a 6 month Fee free course in 2024 for domestic students. This qualification will provide you with the fundamental skills required to work effectively in a community and/or residential setting and provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to use your discretion and judgement in relation to individual support.

This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health. While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organisation guidelines. The Certificate IV in Leisure and Health allows you to assess the human behaviour of those requiring support and implement leisure activities or programs to support their everyday lives. With a Diploma of Community Services, you can graduate with the knowledge and skills to be a valued professional worker in the community service industry. Upon completion of the course, you will have gained the theoretical and ethical foundation required to prepare you for a meaningful and stimulating career. To receive this qualification, you must complete 16 units: 8 core and 8 electives. The course is conducted in 8 terms, each comprising 10 weeks, exclusive of holidays. You will attend college 20 hours per week. Fieldwork Placement: Fieldwork Placements are a requirement of the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA) to provide students the opportunity to link theory with practice. The Diploma of Community Services requires 400 hours of supervised Fieldwork Placement.

This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities. The BSB30115 Certificate III in Business is a nationally recognised training course designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and information to help you develop a successful career in business. The course will provide you with a range of practical skills and knowledge applicable across a range of industry sectors such as workplace health and safety, producing documents and presentations and working in a team environment. There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have written and spoken English skills to the certificate level of the course, as well as access to the internet and a computer in order to enrol in this course.

This qualification is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to provide WHS advice and assist with improving safety in the workplace. This course covers a broad range of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace including identifying hazards, assessing WHS risks, implementing strategies to control WHS risks and assist with effective WHS management.
